Martim Santos

Martim Santos is a versatile musician, songwriter, composer, lyricist, audio engineer, and producer. He also organizes the Incognito Music Festival and serves as a jury member at the Asas da Liberdade Novos Talentos Music Event, helping to spotlight new talent.

Born and raised in Seixal, Martim’s love for music started early. A pivotal moment came in the third grade when he performed “Nothing Else Matters” with his teacher for 500 people. Inspired by artists like Fiona Apple, Arctic Monkeys, Queen, and Elvis, he developed a broad musical taste.

Martim learned guitar at 12, piano at 16, and bass at 18. While studying Physics Engineering at university, he was active in the local music scene, joining various bands and projects. His engineering studies also deepened his understanding of music theory.

Now, Martim is working on his debut album while helping other artists through the Asas da Liberdade Competition. This event gives musicians a chance to play for large crowds and win prizes, including cash, studio time, and major performance slots.

Through the Incognito Music Festival, Martim provides a platform for emerging artists. His mentorship has helped talents like Andre Louro, who recently released his first EP.
